Description of Your Work/Project in C-SWARM

I will work on enabling a domain programmer. That means providing high-level interfaces and domain-specific languages (DSLs) that allow the domain scientist to effectively harness the power of next-generation super computers. This is necessary because even the best designed computing system is of little interest to a domain scientist. The scientist needs a notation that is close to their domain but still enables high-performance computation. The work on such high-level interfaces will require identification of relevant concepts, and design of programming interfaces, tools, and programming mechanisms that allow efficient expression of these concepts while providing the expected performance.
